Episode 41 - "The characters are likeable, even though the dialogue is TERRIBLE!"

In the first episode of 2019, Robert and Jason muse about the Golden Globes and run through their favourite superhero movies (with apologies to Greg - not George - Kinnear). Then it’s time to consider the unexpected success of AQUAMAN, as well as the nostalgia bomb of MARY POPPINS RETURNS. After that, the episode closes out with a preview of some of Netflix’s big releases for the coming months, including IO, POLAR, VELVET BUZZSAW, TRIPLE FRONTIER, and HIGH FLYING BIRD.
