Episode 59 - "It has this inferiority complex." [VIFF, Ad Astra]
Jason returns to Vancouver after TIFF, only to jump right into another festival: the Vancouver International Film Festival! Robert opens up the episode with an update on the back half of TIFF, including LUCY IN THE SKY and UNCUT GEMS. Jason talks about what he’s seen so far at VIFF, including MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN, GUEST OF HONOUR, and PARASITE. Then it’s on to some brief discussion of AD ASTRA, the new film from James Gray.
